Volunteers—their time, energy, and ingenuity—are at the heart of the entire ministry offered by the Parish of Trinity Church, Cornwall. If you wish to support any of these ministries, or have new creative ideas you would like to help nurture into life, please contact the parish office.

Altar Guild—Trinity’s Altar Guild is a “behind-the-scenes” ministry in the parish, the few members of whom are very dedicated and conscientious. The Guild ensures the sanctuary is cleaned on a weekly basis in preparation for regular services, and decorates the church for festivals, holy days and when invited, for weddings and other special events. If you would like to become a member of the Altar Guild—and need for additional hands is always pressings—please contact the current President, Barbara Petepiece.

Parish Hall —Our Parish Hall is always available for rental. Currently, our space is shared for weekly Cubs/Beavers/Scouts meetings, painting classes, auctions, Christian Counseling services, trade shows, Senior fitness and mobility programs and seminars, Tri-County Literacy Council free educational upgrading, and after school homework groups, Eastern Ontario Training Board Kitchen Helper Program. If you are interested in making use of our Hall space, please contact our Parish Administrator Stephen Barkway for assistance at 613-933-3991 ext. 25 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Pet Blessing Service—Now an annual event, the Pet Blessing Service is held at Trinity on the Sunday afternoon as close to the commemoration of St Francis of Assisi as possible (October). The event allows those who care for animals of any kind (as pets, foster care animals, veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitation patients, working animals, etc) the opportunity to bring these special creatures of God together to be blessed. Donations of pet food, treats or toys are made to the Stormont, Dundas and Glengary OSPCA.
