Welcome!

WHO WE ARE

Today, our parish remains true to its long standing, moderately High-Church, Anglican tradition. But we find we are looking to discover what it means to be God's people in this time and this place. We want to continue meeting the needs of both those within our parish and outside of our doors in the broader community. We are asking ourselves who God is calling us to be and how we can best serve His people here in this City of Cornwall.

Our doors, our hearts and our minds remain open. We welcome you to our parish, along with your thoughts, your prayers, your support and your hands by which you, too may help us serve the world God loves.

The future is upon us and it is not to be feared but embraced! We have a good spirit among us which is founded on a trusting faith in a loving God.

The Parish of Trinity Church, Cornwall has been for over 200 years and remains today, a centre of Anglican witness in Eastern Ontario. We aspired to be the face of Christ in the world: to love, nurture and support all of God’s children; to share what gifts we have to offer with those in want or need; and to join together in worship and common prayer.

"If you have faith, or are seeking it, you are always welcome in this House of the Lord!"

UPCOMING CONCERT: Quintessence Ensemble, a Toronto based classical string trio, will be holding a concert at Trinity Church Cornwall on August the 24th at 7pm ticket sales at the door for $20.00. The theme of their upcoming concert tour is that of the Protestant Reformation which was a very important time not only in church history but one which produced some very sacred and musically rich repertoire. The concert will be approximately an hour in duration and will involve Quintessence playing acoustic violins and cello dressed in period costumes, with perhaps an organ accompaniment for a couple selections. They have recently recorded their third CD titled, Post Tenebras Lux, Light after Darkness. This CD includes selections from the period of the Reformation including organ accompaniment..
