WHO WE ARE
Today, our parish remains true to its long standing, moderately High-Church, Anglican tradition. But we find we are looking to discover what it means to be God's people in this time and this place. We want to continue meeting the needs of both those within our parish and outside of our doors in the broader community. We are asking ourselves who God is calling us to be and how we can best serve His people here in this City of Cornwall.
Our doors, our hearts and our minds remain open. We welcome you to our parish, along with your thoughts, your prayers, your support and your hands by which you, too may help us serve the world God loves.
The future is upon us and it is not to be feared but embraced! We have a good spirit among us which is founded on a trusting faith in a loving God.
The Parish of Trinity Church, Cornwall has been for over 200 years and remains today, a centre of Anglican witness in Eastern Ontario. We aspired to be the face of Christ in the world: to love, nurture and support all of God’s children; to share what gifts we have to offer with those in want or need; and to join together in worship and common prayer.
Ordination of Br. Richard: God willing, Bishop John Chapman will ordain Brother Richard Matthias, BSG, to the Sacred Order of Deacons on Holy Cross Day, this Wednesday September 14 at 7pm, here at Trinity Church. Please keep Br Richard in your prayers, and plan to attend this important event.
"If you have faith, or are seeking it, you are always welcome in this House of the Lord!"
